Colchester Film Society

Thank you for your interest and support and welcome to our eleventh season of films, many of which are never screened in multiplex cinemas. The society is now firmly established at the Headgate Theatre.

Members can enjoy first class facilities including a bar, tiered seating, wheelchair access, an induction loop and a friendly atmosphere. The use of digital projection has transformed the viewing experience and all of the films in 2009 are DVD based and shown on a big screen. This ensures excellent sound and vision.

We take pride in offering cultural cinema, a rare experience in Colchester. We also hope to show additional special screenings of feature films during the season as opportunities arise.

The membership subscription has not been increased and at £25 (£20 concessions) remains excellent value. Half price membership is also available (see application form).
